My name is Eleanor Weinberg, I am a wife, and mother of 2 boys and I enjoy a very busy active life.
I’m a member of Bingham Triathlon Club, Vale of Belvoir Cycling Club and Holme Pierrepont Running Club. I also enjoy walking, swimming and have a keen interest in healthy living for the mind and body.
I am a HCPC registered Orthotist with a specialist interest in childrens and adults neurological conditions as well as Musculoskeletal and Sports Injury problems.
I thoroughly enjoy working alongside fellow professionals so am honoured to be working alongside the team of physiotherapists, sports and exercise biomechanists, fitness specialists and massage therapista in my new clinical location at Oakwood Physiotherapy and Wellness Centre in Bingham.
I’m part of a specialist adult neurological service ‘Physio Where You Are’, I work with a number of paediatric physiotherapists within the East Midlands and I also work as an Associate Orthotist for Technology in Motion mainly with their TiM Bands for Flat head Syndrome.
I previously worked as a Senior Orthotist for Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust which enabled me to experience an incredibly wide range of conditions supporting a large number of different patients. It was a pleasure to be part of some amazing multidisciplinary teams during this time.
My priority has always been to ensure patients feel listened to and valued. The pressures on the NHS to treat an increasing number of people with a decreasing budget has made this more and more difficult. By taking my knowledge and skills into the private sector I can now give the time to ensure every patient is treated to a level I would want for my friends and family.
